Michaelene McKelvey brings over 33 years of experience as an educator, serving in various roles that highlight her dedication to student, staff, and administrator success. Her journey includes positions as a middle school teacher, literacy coach, District Teacher on Special Assignment, Assistant Principal, Principal, and ELD Coordinator. Currently, she serves as a Director of Instruction, where she provides leadership and guidance to administrators across all grade levels (TK-12). Michaelene’s work emphasizes professional development, leadership growth, and the empowerment of administrators. She actively fosters these through coaching principals and co-facilitating monthly Assistant Principal meetings designed to enhance leadership capacity and drive systemic improvement.
