About me
Courtney Lyon is an equity-focused educator and instructional leader with over 15 years of experience in education focusing on curriculum development and professional learning communities. As principal at Olympic High School, she has led equity-centered communities of practice which resulted in systems implementation, ensuring that programs and initiatives are both strategically aligned and result-driven to maximize student outcomes. Courtney is passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and supporting students, particularly those from special populations and in the alternative setting, to engage and succeed in school. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from St. Mary’s College of California and multiple credentials in education.
